Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Internet access is required to enter. The following promotion is intended for viewing and participation in the 50 United States and District of Columbia only and shall be construed and evaluated only according to United States law. Do not proceed in the Contest website if you are not located in the United States at the time of entry. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted. Contest begins at 12:00:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on or about May 6th, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 a.m. ET on May 30, 2008 (“Promotion Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older and are located in the U.S. at time of entry, except that employees, officers or directors of The Music Syndicate LLC. ("Contest Administrator"), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries (collectively, the "Contest Entities"), or their agencies or independent contractors who are engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials related to this Contest or the implementation of this Contest, and members of the immediate families or households of each of the above are not eligible to participate.

3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter: During the Promotion Period, go to the Contest page, http://www.thesyn.com/contests/bamboozle, then follow the instructions to complete and submit an official entry. Once submitted, entry cannot be deleted, modified or canceled. One entry per email All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Limit one (1) entry per e-mail address. Multiple entries will be disqualified. Entries become the property of the Contest Entities and will not be returned. Entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. By entering the Contest, you agree that your entry and any other information collected in connection with your entry may be used by the Contest Administrator and may be shared with its partners if you opt-in to receive email from Contest Administrator and/or partner. You may subsequently opt-out of the receipt of such email or communications by following the directions in the email or communications. Entrants may also receive information from partners and participating contributors via e-mail by "opting in" on the Contest entry page.

4. WINNING: Winners will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received, approximately within 30 days after the end of the Promotion Period (at Administrator's discretion), conducted by judges selected by Administrator (Judges) from among all eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by email (at Contest Administrator’s discretion) after the drawing, and are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received. All prizes will be awarded assuming sufficient eligible entries are received.

5. PRIZES: One Grand Prize: A Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus (ARV: $299.99), and prize packs. .All items or expenses not specifically mentioned as being included are excluded. All federal, state and local taxes, if any, and any other incidental costs or expenses not identified in these rules are the responsibility of the winners. All prizes are provided "AS IS" with no warranty or guarantee by Contest Entities, either express or implied. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees with respect to a prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturers' terms therefore, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturer(s) for any such warranty and/or guarantee. Prizes will be delivered 4-6 weeks after verification of winners.

6. CLAIMING PRIZE: Potential prize winners must claim their prize by responding within five (5) business days after the date of notification or attempted notification in the manner directed in the notification, and may be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability, and publicity release by the deadline stated in the notification. In the event of noncompliance, or if the entrant cannot be contacted at the email address on his or her entry form, or if prize/prize notification is undeliverable or returned as unclaimed, prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be selected. Prize is non-transferable with no substitutions except at Administrator's sole discretion, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of prize also constitutes permission to use by the Contest Entities of winner's name, biographical information, voice and/or likeness for promotional and/or advertising purposes in all media throughout the world now known or hereinafter developed, in perpetuity without notice, limitation, or compensation.

7. CONDITIONS: Participants agree that the Contest Entities are not responsible for any: (a) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, forged, incomplete, illegible, or garbled entries; (b) telephone, computer, hardware, software, programming, or network malfunction or other technical failures or errors, or the failure to properly process entries; (c) communication disruption or other forces beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Entities, including but not limited to disruption related to Internet traffic, virus, bug or non-authorized intervention; or (d) damage caused by computer virus or otherwise resulting to any computer from such person's access to the Website whether human, mechanical or electronic. If such malfunction, error, disruption or damage occurs, and impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Contest, the Contest Administrator may, in its sole discretion, modify, suspend or terminate the Contest by posting a notice on the Website. If the Contest is terminated before the end date, Contest Administrator may determine winners from all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Contest or whom Contest Administrator believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage will be disqualified. Participants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Contest Entities, their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any claim, injury, loss or damage of any kind to any person, including without limitation disability and death, any contractual, intellectual or other proprietary rights, and any damage or loss to property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, or participation in this Contest, or any Contest related activity.
