The Syndicate seeks a dynamic executive to drive company growth through the acquisition of new clients and development of creative marketing campaigns.

This person will be a key driver of discovering, prospecting, pitching and closing new business. Working with the marketing team, this person will develop unique creative ideas and solutions for entertainment clients within the experiential marketing space and beyond.

The candidate will also play a key role in agency initiatives, including responsibility for improvements to the company marketing and sales materials to support ongoing growth and innovation.

This person must be comfortable with storytelling, strategizing and answering business needs, with an eye towards superb client service, innovation, teamwork and collaboration. Strong networking skills and existing relationships in the entertainment industry are required, as well as experience attending industry conferences and networking events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Discover, prospect, pitch, and close new business

  • Develop content-tailored responses to RFPs

  • Leverage consumer insights, competitive data and market research to develop comprehensive marketing plans for clients

  • Lead and oversee a team of marketing professionals

  • Manage clients relationships and project deliverables

  • Regularly attend events and conferences to support existing clients and identify new opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience - a combination of sales/business development, experiential, brand, and events

  • Passion for pop-culture and entertainment, including music, TV, film and comedy

  • Sales leadership experience with a proven ability to improve and help grow revenue

  • Established relationships with prospective clients

  • Superior presentation skills at the executive level, great communication and interpersonal skills

  • Balance of creative and analytical thinking

  • Strong references supporting character and work ethic
