Job: Web Designer with Programming Skills

The Syndicate is looking to hire an in-house web designer with a thorough understanding of programming. The right person has meticulous attention to detail, superb organizational skills, is a strong communicator and works well with others. This is a fun yet professional atmosphere that encourages creative input often outside of one’s comfort zone. Recent projects have included custom Facebook tabs/apps, flash widgets and games, full-scale websites, micro-sites, banner ads and more.

Responsibilities
Oversee all in-house assets including websites, design work
Brainstorm ideas with clients and internal staff
Project management of internal task list
Delegate and manage freelance projects

Mandatory Skillset
Proficiency in Flash
Experience using and developing for WordPress
Thorough knowledge of HTML/CSS
Understanding of current Facebook API and other social media tools while staying on developments
Some knowledge of PHP/ActionScript
Familiarity of InDesign and the printing process

Preferred Skills
Experience designing for print
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator
Javascript
