MARKETING/PROJECT MANAGER

The Syndicate seeks a Marketing/Project Manager to join our agency. This person will act as the lead manager on marketing campaigns for a diverse range of clients in the entertainment industry and beyond. They will be responsible for coordinating and executing plans with a focus on event strategy, production, and activations.

The Marketing/Project Manager will serve as the main point of contact and communication lead and  will be accountable for successful management of assigned projects, while making sure all deliverables are on time & within budget.

Our ideal candidate will be a positive, natural leader with a passion for music/comedy, events, and collaboration. They must be extremely detail-oriented and have a fierce go-getter attitude. This is a unique role which requires creativity and organization, with equal attention paid to both the fine print and the big picture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multiple projects with unified oversight, ensuring transparency to key stakeholders, and driving successful results.

  • Prioritize project work and delegate responsibilities to corresponding team members

  • Drive team communication, both within core team and to management / leadership team

  • Oversee development, creative design, logistics and execution of large and small-scale events

  • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, collateral, meetings, and staffing plans

  • Supervise event production on-site, including setup, execution, and breakdown

  • Manage client relationships and proactively seek out and develop new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, in-house or with an agency

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Passion for pop-culture and entertainment, including music, TV, film and comedy

  • Project management and leadership experience

  • Strong time management skills

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Adaptability to work both as a part of a team and independently

  • Strong references supporting character and work ethic
