Conflict Of Interest X | Thanks To Everyone!

Well we made it through another CMJ Marathon, which also means we also survived another Conflict of Interest. Not just any COI however, this year marked The Syndicate’s 10th Annual (COI X) bash to kick off CMJ’s week worth of events.

Hopefully you were able to join us. Big thank you’s to all of our partners for making the night possible.

We couldn’t have done it without Okobos, who were generous enough to hand out 1000 pair of their shoes to our guests! Did you get yours? If so, let us know how you like them. Okobos is not just a footwear company, they are a charitable foundation, and a new way of doing business. Their mission is to help children and families in impoverished communities and at the same time, make it simple for people like you and me to support the cause. Visit their website to learn more about their footwear and the causes they support. If you like what you see, please help spread the word. Contact us know if you need your Vote 08’ Okobits for your shoes. Breast Cancer Okobits are coming soon!

Many thanks to Kim Crawford who provided complimentary wine for the evening. Kim Crawford doesn’t just make great wine, they also have great taste in music, and love promoting new artists. Check out their their music lounge.

If wine wasn’t your beverage of choice, there was plenty of Pabst Blue Ribbon and SoNu on hand as well.

If you weren’t thirsty, maybe you were wise enough to text into Songwhale, and win one of the tons or prize packs given throughout the night with cool stuff from LayRite, Kim Crawford, PBR, Simon & Schuster and SoNu.

Thank you MusicSkins for outfitting our guests with skins, and to our friend Faro for designing exclusive COI artwork. MusicSkins is currently offering 15% off online purchases to SYN friends. Just enter coupon code SYN at checkout when you make a purchase on their website.

All of this, and we haven’t even talked about the rock show. How about that lineup?! Comedian Robert Kelly kicked off the set, followed by outrageous sets from Margot & The Nuclear So And So’s, Rival Schools and …and You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead. Big Syn thanks to all of them.

If you made it upstairs, perhaps you tried on some snuggly, warm 66 North outdoor clothing and had your photo taken in Diana Levine’s photobooth. You can see your photos here.

We also had a banger going on upstairs thanks to DJ Munk, Devlin and ETAN and DJs Stereofaith and Jerome Baker III kept us going downstairs until the last drop of wine was drunk.

Thanks to everyone who made COI X possible, can’t wait to do it again next year! In the meantime, enjoy the photos and be sure to check back because we’ll be posting new pictures for the next few weeks.
