To commemorate the launch of HBO Max’s new series, “Our Flags Mean Death” The Syn devised a plan & ideas to engage viewers and tastemakers in a unique way that strays away from typical pirate stereotypes, while highlighting the show's offbeat humor.
The Syn developed & curated influencer crates, titled 'Self Care on The Seven Seas', derivative and indicative of the show's "gentleman pirate", Captain Stede Bonnet. The quirky and luxurious lifestyle was reflected in each box. 200 unique mailers were sent out to a curated list of cast, crew, influencers, and press.

We crafted the idea for the box and each aspect of the mailer including 10 different self care items. Oversaw fulfillment of mailers and sourced 150+ influencers and press outlets. The Syn’s work led to over 6 million impressions from our influencers & was shortlisted for a Clio Entertainment Award.
